AI CREATION GLOSSARY

AI Creation Glossary: Every Term You'll See on WowMade

A plain-English dictionary of the concepts behind creating with AI — from credits and prompts to text-to-video, Seedream 5.0, and AI music. Every entry links to the page where you can actually use it.

A

#AI Music Generator

Generating a full, original music track — with vocals — from a text description of genre, mood, and subject.

Describe the song and WowMade composes an original track, lyrics and vocals included, for 3 credits. Each track gets AI-generated album art automatically and lands in My Creations ready to download. You can write the lyrics yourself, have the AI lyrics generator draft them, or turn vocals off for an instrumental. Finished examples are on the AI music library.

#Arrangement

The plan of which instruments play when across a song — the sparse intro, the full last chorus — that turns a melody into a finished record.

WowMade's music model writes melody, arrangement, and vocals in a single pass, so you steer the arrangement with words rather than a mixing desk: name the instruments, the era, and the energy in your description on create music — “acoustic guitar and brushed drums, sparse until the last chorus”. Your structure tags shape it too, because the model builds around the sections your lyrics declare. The AI music library shows the one-sentence prompt behind every track, which is the fastest way to learn what wording produces what arrangement.

Describe an arrangement

#Aspect Ratio

The width-to-height shape of your output — 16:9 for widescreen, 9:16 for vertical social formats, 1:1 for square, and more.

Pick the ratio to match where the result will live: 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts; 16:9 for YouTube and web; 1:1 for feeds. Both image and video generators support multiple ratios at no extra credit cost.

Related: Resolution, Text-to-Image, Text-to-Video

B

#BPM (Tempo)

Beats per minute — how fast a song moves. On WowMade you set it in words inside your description, not with a numeric field.

The music studio has no tempo slider: pace is part of the style prompt, so brief it the way you would brief a musician — “slow 70s soul ballad”, “driving four-on-the-floor dance beat”, “half-time, heavy drums”. Tempo also decides how many words fit: songs run about 1–3 minutes depending on how many sections your lyrics declare, so a faster tempo carries more lines per section.

Set the pace in a prompt

Related: Arrangement, Key (Musical), Structure Tags ([Verse], [Chorus])

#Bridge

The section that breaks the verse–chorus pattern near the end of a song, tagged [Bridge], so the final chorus lands harder.

WowMade's default song shape is verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus — the bridge is the turn: new words, often a new chord feel, before the last repeat. The AI lyrics generator writes one by default and tags it for you; you can delete it, move it, or type [Bridge] yourself in the lyrics box on create music.

C

#Character (Reusable)

A saved character with multiple reference views that keeps the same face, hair, and look across every image you generate.

Build a character once and WowMade stores identity views (face, front, and more) that are attached as references whenever you feature them — so the same character stays consistent across scenes. Mention them by name right inside your prompt on create image.

Use characters

#Commercial Use

Your right to use what you create — in ads, client work, social media, and monetized content — included with every plan and pack.

Commercial use is included across all plans and packs — no separate license tier. You're responsible for the inputs you provide (upload only content you have rights to); the details live in the Terms of Use.

Related: Monthly Plan, Credit Pack, Royalty-Free

#Cover Art (Album Art)

The square image generated with every song — created from the same description, included in the 3-credit price, no separate charge.

When a track finishes, WowMade generates a square 1K cover from your song description using Seedream 5.0 Lite, deliberately without text or logos so it reads at thumbnail size. It is attached to the track in My Creations, and a cover that fails to render never fails the song itself. Like every output here, the art is AI-generated.

#Credit Pack

A one-time credit top-up for active subscribers — no renewal, and the credits never expire while your account is open.

When a busy week burns through your monthly credits, packs top you up without changing your plan. They're one-time purchases — nothing recurs — and stack on top of your existing balance.

#Credits

The single currency for everything you create on WowMade — images, videos, and music each cost a set number of credits.

Every generation has a clear price: an AI image costs 1–3 credits, a 5-second AI video 10–20 credits depending on model and resolution, and a full music track 3 credits. Credits come with a monthly plan or a one-time credit pack, and they never expire while your account remains open. Full rates are disclosed on pricing.

#Generation Queue

The live status tray showing everything currently rendering — up to 8 videos and 8 images can generate in parallel.

Kick off several generations and keep working: the queue pill in the header tracks progress, and finished results land in My Creations even if you close the tab. Failed generations are automatically refunded to your credit balance.

H

#Hook

The one line or melodic phrase people remember and repeat — usually sitting at the centre of the chorus.

WowMade's lyric writer is instructed to make the chorus memorable and to repeat its hook, which is why the same phrase comes back each time round. It is also the part most worth reusing: the singing video generator auto-detects the chorus when it picks which seconds of a song to animate.

Write a chorus with a hook

Related: Verse & Chorus, Jingle, Singing Video (Lip Sync)

I

#Image-to-Image (Reference Images)

Generating a new picture guided by images you upload — for edits, style transfers, and consistent characters across posts.

Upload one or more reference images you have the rights to use, add a prompt describing the change, and the model composes a new image that follows your references — edit a product shot, restyle a scene, or keep a character consistent.

Edit an image

Related: Text-to-Image, Character (Reusable), Seedream 5.0

#Image-to-Video

Animating a still image into a moving clip — the model reads your picture and brings it to life following your prompt.

Start from a photo or a generated image you have the rights to use, describe the motion, and the model animates it — a portrait that turns to camera, a landscape where clouds drift, a product that rotates. Works with Seedance 2.0 and WAN 2.7 on create video.

Animate an image

Related: Text-to-Video, Seedance 2.0, Singing Video (Lip Sync)

#Instrumental

A track with no vocals — flip the Instrumental toggle in the music studio and the model composes music only, at the same 3-credit price.

Use it for beds under video, lo-fi beats, and cinematic cues. With the toggle on, the lyrics box is set aside — instrumentals never carry lyrics — and the voice setting stops applying. Everything else is unchanged: the same 44.1 kHz, 256 kbps MP3, the same automatic cover art, the same landing spot in My Creations.

Generate an instrumental

J

#Jingle

A short, deliberately catchy song built around a single hook — the format behind ad spots, channel intros, and birthday songs.

Ask for one in plain words (“an upbeat jingle about a corner bakery that opens at five”) and the lyric writer picks a shorter shape — it reads your idea before choosing a structure, so a jingle or a lullaby comes back shorter than the default verse-chorus-bridge song. Generated tracks still run about 1–3 minutes, so a jingle is the short, repetitive end of that range. The birthday song generator is the same engine pointed at one occasion.

Write a jingle

K

#Key (Musical)

The set of notes a song is built around — major keys read bright, minor keys read darker. Described in words on WowMade, not picked from a menu.

The studio has no key selector, so put the feeling in the description: “minor-key, brooding piano” against “bright, major, festival-sized”. Naming a key outright works the same way — the model treats it as part of the style brief rather than a hard setting. Each generation composes from scratch, so two runs of the same prompt can land differently; that is also what makes regenerating worthwhile.

Related: BPM (Tempo), Arrangement, AI Music Generator

L

#Lyrics

The words your song sings — write your own, up to 3,000 characters in the lyrics box, or have the AI draft them at no credit cost.

Press “Write lyrics for me” and you get complete, original, structure-tagged lyrics with a title, editable before you generate. Writing lyrics uses no credits on any plan; only the recorded song does. Submit a song with no lyrics and the writer runs automatically, because the music model needs words to sing. The writer stays PG-13 and never names a real artist, band, or song — a reference to a musician is translated into a description of the style instead. Details on the AI lyrics generator.

Write lyrics

Related: Structure Tags ([Verse], [Chorus]), Verse & Chorus, Vocal Gender

M

#Mastering

The final polish that puts a mix at consistent, release-ready loudness. WowMade masters each track in the same pass that composes it.

There is no separate mastering step and no set of dials: the track that arrives is the finished one, delivered at 44.1 kHz as a 256 kbps MP3. The lever for a different sound is the description — “warm and analogue, tape saturation” against “bright, modern, radio-loud” — and a fresh take is another 3 credits. Failed generations are refunded automatically.

#Monthly Plan

A subscription that refills your credit balance every month — renews automatically at the displayed price until you cancel.

Plans start at $25/month for 75 credits and scale up for regular creators. Subscriptions renew automatically each month and can be cancelled online anytime; every charge is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee under the conditions in the Refund Policy. Full billing terms live on pricing details.

#My Creations

Every finished generation is saved here with its prompt and settings, so you can download results, reuse a prompt, or feed an image back in as a reference.

P

#Prompt

The text description you give the AI — what to create, in what style, with what mood — that drives every generation.

A prompt can be one line (“a snow leopard at dawn”) or a detailed art direction with camera, lighting, and style notes. The same prompt drives images, videos, and music. On create image you can also describe an existing picture to turn it into a reusable prompt.

Try a prompt

Related: Text-to-Image, Text-to-Video, Structure Tags ([Verse], [Chorus])

R

#Resolution

The pixel detail of your output — 1K or 2K for images, 480p to 1080p for video — higher settings cost more credits.

Seedream 5.0 Pro images render at 1K (2 credits) or 2K (3 credits); video models range from 480p to 1080p with credit costs shown before you generate. Need more pixels after the fact? The upscaler boosts finished videos.

Related: Credits, Video Upscaler, Aspect Ratio

#Royalty-Free

Music you can use in your own content — video, podcasts, streams, socials, monetized channels included — without per-play fees or rights clearance.

Two licences sit behind that word here. Tracks in the AI music library play and download at no cost without signup, and WowMade never registers them with YouTube Content ID. That library is a finished set of tracks we already generated — it is not a trial of the generation platform, which needs a paid plan. Songs you generate yourself are covered by the commercial use rights included with every plan and pack, set out in the Terms of Use. Neither licence covers reselling or redistributing tracks on their own — use them inside your content, not as the product. Every audio file you download carries a signed provenance mark identifying it as AI-generated.

S

#Sample Rate & Bitrate

The two numbers behind audio quality. Every WowMade track is delivered at a 44.1 kHz sample rate as a 256 kbps MP3.

Sample rate is how many times per second the audio is measured — 44.1 kHz is the rate used by CDs and streaming services. Bitrate is how much data per second the MP3 keeps; more data, fewer compression artefacts. Both are fixed product settings rather than user controls, so vocal tracks and instrumentals come out at the same quality. That MP3 is what you download from My Creations and drop under a video.

#Seedance 2.0

WowMade's flagship AI video model family — Seedance 2.0 for maximum quality and Seedance 2.0 Mini for fast, affordable clips.

Seedance 2.0 renders cinematic text-to-video and image-to-video clips up to 1080p; the Mini tier trades some fidelity for speed and a lower credit cost. Both are included in every plan — models are never paywalled behind higher tiers.

Generate with Seedance

Related: Text-to-Video, Image-to-Video, WAN 2.7

#Seedream 5.0

WowMade's flagship AI image model — Seedream 5.0 Pro for top quality at 1K and 2K, and Seedream 5.0 Lite for fast, cheap generations.

Seedream 5.0 Pro handles text-to-image and reference-guided edits with up to 14 reference images; Lite generates at 1 credit per image. Pro is also the model covered by the unlimited Seedream window on every plan.

Generate with Seedream

Related: Text-to-Image, Unlimited Seedream Window, Image-to-Image (Reference Images)

#Singing Video (Lip Sync)

Animating a photo you own into a video that sings or speaks — the AI matches mouth movement to the audio.

Combine a picture you have the rights to use with a voice or a generated music track, and the model animates the face in sync with the audio. Great for mascots, brand characters, and your own portraits — see the singing video generator.

Make a singing video

Related: Image-to-Video, AI Music Generator, Hook

#Stem

An isolated part of a mix — vocals alone, drums alone. WowMade delivers finished mixed tracks, not separate stems.

Worth knowing what you do not get: each generation returns one mixed MP3 plus its cover art, not a multitrack session. When you need parts to move independently in an edit, the practical route is to generate an instrumental of the same idea alongside the vocal take and cut between them — two generations, 3 credits each.

Generate a vocal and an instrumental

Related: Instrumental, Mastering, Sample Rate & Bitrate

#Structure Tags ([Verse], [Chorus])

Square-bracket labels in your lyrics that tell the model where each section starts: [Intro], [Verse], [Pre Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro].

Put each tag on its own line above the lines it governs. The model reads them as the shape of the song, so they set the running order and, in practice, the length — tracks run about 1–3 minutes depending on how many sections you declare. The lyrics box on create music takes up to 3,000 characters, tags included, and the AI lyrics generator tags its output the same way, so you can edit a draft without learning new syntax.

Paste tagged lyrics

T

#Text-to-Image

Generating a finished picture from a written description — pick a model, aspect ratio, and resolution, and get images in seconds.

Write a prompt, choose a model like Seedream 5.0 or WAN 2.7, set the aspect ratio, and generate. Images cost 1–3 credits each and land in My Creations.

Create an image

Related: Seedream 5.0, Image-to-Image (Reference Images), Aspect Ratio

#Text-to-Video

Generating a short cinematic video clip straight from a written description — no camera, no footage, no editing timeline.

Describe the shot and Seedance 2.0 or WAN 2.7 renders a 4–15 second clip in your chosen aspect ratio and resolution. A 5-second video costs 10–20 credits depending on model and quality.

U

#Unlimited Seedream Window

A 3-day period at the start of each paid billing month when Seedream 5.0 Pro images cost 0 credits, with a fair-use limit of 90 images per day.

Every monthly plan includes it: for the first 72 hours of each paid billing month, Seedream 5.0 Pro generations cost 0 credits, up to 90 images per day of the window. Beyond the daily limit — and for every other model — generations simply use credits at the normal rates. The window opens automatically each time your subscription renews; full terms are on pricing details.

V

#Verse & Chorus

The two sections a song alternates between: verses carry the story and change each time, the chorus repeats with its words and melody intact.

Tag them [Verse] and [Chorus] in your lyrics. WowMade's writer puts the concrete details you gave it — names, places, quirks — into the verses and keeps the chorus short and repeatable around its hook. The default shape is verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, and a typical set of lyrics runs roughly 900–1,800 characters including the tags.

Draft verses and a chorus

#Video Upscaler

An AI tool that increases the resolution and sharpness of an existing video — turn a fast draft render into a crisp final.

Generate quickly at a lower resolution, pick the best take, then upscale just that one — a cheaper workflow than rendering everything at maximum quality. Works on your generations and on videos you upload and have the rights to enhance. See the video upscaler.

Upscale a video

Related: Resolution, Text-to-Video, My Creations

#Vocal Gender

Whether your song is sung by a female or a male voice — a choice under Advanced in the music studio, next to the language setting.

Pick female or male, or leave it unset and let the model decide from your description. The setting reaches both stages: the lyric writer adjusts phrasing and register for that voice, and the music model sings accordingly. Ten languages are available alongside it — English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The setting does not apply to instrumentals. Voices are model-generated: WowMade does not clone or imitate a named singer.

#WAN 2.7

An alternative AI model family that generates both images and video — a different visual character than Seedance and Seedream.

WAN 2.7 covers images and video with its own aesthetic — worth trying when you want a different look from the same prompt. Included in every plan alongside Seedance, Seedream, and Qwen Image.
