Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. This policy explains which cookies wowmade.ai uses, why, and how you can control them.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are required for the Website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set only in response to actions you take, such as signing in. No consent is required for these.

  • Authentication (Supabase): cookies beginning with sb- keep you signed in to your account. They are removed when you sign out.
  • Consent preference: cookie_consent (browser local storage) stores your cookie choice and when you made it, so we don't ask you again.
  • Region flag: pv_eea records only whether your connection appears to come from a region where we must ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies. It contains no personal data.

3. Analytics and Advertising (Consent Required)

With your consent, we use the following services to measure our advertising and understand how the Website is used. None of them is strictly necessary, and each can be declined without affecting your ability to use WowMade.

  • Google Ads conversion tracking — cookies such as _gcl_au and _gac_*, used to attribute sign-ups and purchases to our Google ads.
  • Google Analytics 4 — cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, used for aggregated site usage statistics.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram ads) — cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, used to measure ad performance. When you are signed in, the pixel also receives your email address and account id in hashed form to match events to ad clicks.
  • Hyros (ad attribution) — first-party cookies and local-storage entries that link your visit to the ad you clicked. When you are signed in, Hyros receives your account email so that a later purchase can be attributed to that click.

Regional behaviour. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and every region we cannot identify, none of these services is loaded and none of these cookies is set unless you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. Where consent is declined, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals (Google Consent Mode) and the other services are not loaded at all. For visitors in the United States, the Meta Pixel and Hyros load by default while Google services still receive only cookieless signals until you accept; you can switch everything off at any time with the cookie settings button below or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.

Server-side purchase events. After a completed purchase we may also send a confirmation of that purchase (order value and a hashed form of your email address) directly from our servers to Google and Meta so that paid advertising can be measured accurately. 4. Managing Your Preferences

You can change your cookie choice at any time:

  • Use the cookie settings button above (also available in the page footer) to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
  • Configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.
  • We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: if your browser sends it, analytics and advertising services are disabled automatically unless you have expressly accepted them.

5. California Residents — Do Not Sell or Share

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time using the cookie settings button above, the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, or the GPC browser signal.
